Sustainability is not just a subject we teach. It is something students live every day. Through our farm-to-table approach, children take part in growing, harvesting and understanding the food that reaches their plates.
Working in the gardens, students learn where food really comes from and the care it takes to produce it. They cultivate vegetables, herbs and other produce, discovering the value of patience, seasons and honest work along the way.
Children grow, harvest and come to understand the food that reaches their plates.
These lessons plant something lasting: an awareness of the environment and a sense of responsibility toward it. In tending the land, students come to understand that small, everyday choices are how a healthier, more sustainable future is built.
